Be Aware, be very aware. This man opposed the corrupt government in Norwalk who has taken bribes of untold amounts from developers, and he refused to play their game. So they put an unusually large assessment on his home, and then quickly foreclosed it and sold it to a waiting stooge. See if the new owner paid one dollar for his legal work and who did pay for it, that will tell you the real deal and you will uncover a story of huge corruption at the highest levels.

Mr. Tomas is no "waiting stooge". You better watch your mouth or you won't be called "Eileen", you'll be renamed BEN Dover, pal.

Scott P. Merrell is a crook and an embarrassment to the City of Norwalk. I hope he leaves Norwalk for good and goes somewhere far far away.

"embarrassment to the City of Norwalk" sounds like your talking about the mayor

How did the Hour reporter get past the nearly impregnable security cordon surrounding the exclusive Wilson's Point settlement? That in itself would make for a fascinating story.

The city did not foreclose on him. The property was sold at a public auction tax sale that was publicly advertised for months. Anybody could have bid - even you. There were many bidders that day competing against each other. The only qualification was you could not owe back taxes to Norwalk or the city would not let you bid & that rule applied to all the properties in the sale. The successful bidder was whoever bid the highest. That person is from out of town & does not have anything to do with any developers. Merrell had over a year to pay the taxes or pay off the bidder, and was warned this would happen. Please get your facts straight before you cast aspersions on upstanding people.

What upstanding people would you be referring too.

Mr. Tomas owns many parcels of real estate in Norwalk, this isn't the first piece of property here that he's ever bought. You people need to get your facts straight before you open your mouths publicly and prove without a doubt that you are all fools.
